1 Year Reflections

Happy Birthday to unyunish.com! Hip hip hooray! It's been one year since I released this website into the wild. I am so happy I made this website, and I want to continue working on it. I have a lot planned!

Originally, I started this website as a portfolio. I wanted to break out into graphic design, and possibly web design. It didn’t take long for me to realize I had very little to no desire to work an industry job or under a corporation(plus full time job hours are unsustainable for me). Then, well, to be blunt, it became the last thing I planned to accomplish before I offed myself. But, getting this site in a presentable state took a long ass time, and by the time I released my website, I decided to stick around a little longer. This site is still way too unfinished for me to die yet, anyway. My about page isn’t even finished yet. EMBARASSING!
So what is it for, now? Well, it's still something meant to outlive me. I want to really use this site not just to host my work, but to be a medium for it as well. Once I have time...maybe...

Since I released this website so close to the new year, there's not a lot I can say that I didn't already say in my blog post. I would like to make more extravagant pages, especially ones that are super interactive, as well. But for this month and the next, I have to focus on getting money and securing a new place to move into, so that takes priority. :( Bottom line is that I want to set up my shop this year, FOR REAL, and make SOME sort of about page. It was originally overly extravagant, maybe bordering on masturbatory, but I may move all of that to it's own page and just do a still really weird but more simple about page. In a sense, every page on this website is an about page if you think about it! *i am booed off the stage*

Well, that's it. Site updates will still be slow probably, until I move into my new place. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you next time.
